IDYANTHIDAE Lang 1944 [PDF]

Lang (1944) established Idyanthinae Lang, 1944 which was raised to family rank by Seifried (2003). Together with Zosimidae, Idyanthidae belongs to Idyanthidimorpha Seifried (2003).

The groundpattern of Idyanthidae was reconstructed by Seifried (2003), who regards the following genera as constituting the taxon Idyanthidae: Dactylopia Becker, 1974 together with Idyanthe Sars, 1909, Idyella Sars, 1906, Idyellopsis Lang, 1944, Styracothorax Huys, 1993 and Tachidiella Sars, 1909 ( from Brohldick, 2005).
