    The following species: Canthosella bromelicola, Canthosella goeldii and Canthosella montana, described by Ebert (1967) from Brazil, are to be considered "nomina nuda" (Janetzky, Martinez-Arbizu & Reid, 1996).

    Gaviria & Defaye (2012) consider both Delachauxiella and Canthosella as subgenera of Attheyella .
